专辑简介：
这部专辑由贾南德雷亚·诺赛德（Gianandrea Noseda）指挥，英国广播公司爱乐乐团（BBC Philharmonic Orchestra）演奏俄罗斯作曲家普罗科菲耶夫（Sergei Prokofiev）的作品——《宝石花的故事》。这无疑是一部辉煌的录音，不仅是交响乐团的弦乐，尤其是铜管乐听起来非常华丽优美。
这部曲目是普罗科菲耶夫的最后一部作品。1953年2月,普罗科菲耶夫得了感冒，但他还是开始了《宝石花的故事》的最后一次校订工作,因为这部舞剧要在3月1日开始排练。1953年的3月 5日下午,《宝石花的故事》的导演拉夫洛夫斯基和乐团首席演奏斯朵契夫斯基到公寓访问时,他精神还好。普罗科菲耶夫把《宝石花的故事》的一部分总谱交给他们之后,出去散步。然而六点刚过,他就由于脑溢血而匆匆离开了人世。就这样,芭蕾舞剧《宝石花的故事》成为了普罗科菲耶夫的最后一部作品。
