Albums from 2xHD guarantee that the ultimate quality is preserved from the original master. Audiophile quality microphone designer and winner of “Best Sound in Show” at high-end audio equipment conventions, Rene Laflamme uses his knowle古典音乐e and unfailing instinct to match various audio components to create the best all-encompassing sound experience.

It starts with a pure analog transfer from the original master tape. The transfer is made to the best magnetic tape on the market today, recording the master to SM468 tape. This tape has the best Print-through protection and longest storage life.

Next, the resulting analog signal is then transferred into high-resolution DSD and DXD formats by recording it in DXD using a custom 2xHD Technologies A to D converter. All analog and digital cables that are used are state of the art cables from Siltech. The 2xHD FUSION mastering system is powered by a supercapacitor power supply, using a new technology that lowers the digital noise found in the lowest level of the spectrum. A vacuum tube NAGRA HD DAC X is used as a reference digital playback converter in order to A and B with the original analog master tape, permitting the fusion of the warmth of analog with the refinement of digital.

Finally, NativeDSD Mastering Engineer Tom Caulfield uses the “EC” DSD 512 modulators in Signalyst HQ Player Pro 4 to convert the Stereo DXD transfer to Stereo DSD 512. Only available from NativeDS
