Renaud Capuçon’s last Mozart release of 2023, an e-album released on the “Beau Soir” imprint, once again demonstrates the violinist’s enduring encouragement of exceptional young talents. Together with three young musicians – violist Paul Zientara, cellist Stéphanie Huang and pianist Guillaume Bellom – he plays the Piano Quartets in G minor K 478 and E flat major K 493, two formally difficult and emotionally demanding works that date from around the time of Mozart’s operas Don Giovanni and Le nozze di Figaro.
